Glen Mason began his career as a glazier and had accumulated 20 years of experience designing and installing window furnishings and security doors.

Supporting a growing family of six, . he and his partner Julie saw an opportunity to strike out on their own. His initially modest enterprise has become a thriving family-owned and operated business servicing homes and commercial properties throughout the Whitsunday and Mackay region.

Today Whitsunday Blinds & Security specializes in designing and installing a wide range of security screens and doors, custom vertical drapes, blinds, shutters and awnings.

When you call us, you can expect to have your questions answered and a clearer vision of what your room or exterior will look like once it’s done—most likely by Julie herself.

Each customer receives an onsite consultation with a free measurement and fixed-price quote. Then Glen and his expert team go to work, designing, manufacturing and fitting each product to your unique specifications. Our security doors and screens are manufactured in-house using the best materials and hardware available. You can also order custom-made vertical drapes or choose stunning styles from a spectacular variety of blinds, shutters and awnings.
